Learn how to beat the flea in under 60 seconds

How do spot-on flea treatments work?

If the flea bites your pet it dies, if it does NOT bite your pet, it will not die! Adult fleas can go up to 100 days without feeding on blood.

Not every flea you see would have bitten your pet, remember, no bite, no die!!!

If you have an infestation prior to using spot-on flea treatment, female adult fleas would have laid potentially 1000’s of eggs in the environment and on your pet.

Fleas are masters of reproduction and have been evolving for millions of years, never underestimate the power of a flea.

95% of fleas live in the environment and not on your pet

Fleas frequently jump off pets to lay eggs in warm, dark places like carpets, sofas, and clothing. Eggs laid on your pet also fall into the environment.

Prevent re-infestation!!

  • To prevent re-infestation, break the flea cycle by eliminating eggs, stopping new fleas from hatching.
  • Apply flea treatment monthly for preventative use

How to break the cycle!

  • Regularly vacuum, including under furniture and along skirting boards, and wash your pet’s bedding on a hot cycle.
  • Regularly comb your pet to remove adult fleas and their eggs.

Tips on treating your pet with spot on treatment!

  • Apply by parting the fur and ensuring it covers as much skin as possible.
  • Apply to the back of the neck, just in front of the shoulder blades, to prevent your pet from licking or rubbing it off. If accidentally ingested, it can cause distressing reactions like excessive drooling or foaming at the mouth.
  • Keep your pet dry and avoid allowing them to roll on carpets or bedding, as this can remove the treatment and significantly reduce its effectiveness.

How long does it take to get rid of fleas completely?

  • Breaking the flea life cycle can take between 2 weeks and 3 months.
